Spark Driver: How much I made on Saturday in 8 hours & is it worth it?

Let me know if you find such an opportunity! haha I have been driving with Walmart Spark Driver for exactly 1 year in Gulfport Mississippi zone. I do it full-time. Previously I did some gig work with DoorDash (aweful), Uber & Lyft (even worse to be honest). Follow me on my full 8 hour work day with Spark Driver from December 14, 2024. This is what you can expect to experience on average when it comes to earnings working 8 hours straight with no break. Some days are better than others. This, I would say is a pretty average day. Can you make $1600 per week with Spark Driver? - Absolutely! Will you see you friends, family, pets or watch a movie at home if you make $1600? - Absolutely not! While it is possible to get super lucky on occasion, it is absolutely not attainable as consistent earnings, because during an average week - you will need to work from 6 am till closing time 7 days a week to guarantee those type of earnings. Moreover - be mindful of the mileage you put on your car. It is more than just gas - wear and tear, oil changes, warrantees - all those things need to be thought through and accounted for when you take an offer. If it's just 1 single item delivery for $10 , but the distance is 10 miles away - then make it 20 miles, because you. need to come back to that store for more offers, right? And think about the time it will take you to make that round trip. If $10 for that time spent is acceptable to you - then take it. If not, just wait for another offer to come up. Take care of your car. It is your source of income after all! Don't forget the bins when separating your orders! Walmart loaders will not put 2 orders in the same area unless they're clearly separated to avoid mix up. Bins help with that! Don't like bins? - make sure your car is completely clear of any personal items in the truck, back seat and front seat. If you take more than 2 orders you will need to use your front seat! Learn your area! If you have a bad back or knees or aren't happy to carry 45lb loads of anything up any stairs, such as 4 cases of water going to an apartment, make sure you know what that apartment complex looks like before you accept any such offers. Otherwise you might be hurting for a while! Bring along a rain coat, a lighter jacket, hat, etc. If the weather changes where you live as much as it does here - you can go through all 4 seasons in one day. If you're working all day you need to be comfortable. Figure out which days and hours are the best for you at your walmart and set daily goals for yourself.
