If you also want to capture such amazing SloMo Shots with your Insta360 GO 2, make sure to switch to the Slow-Mo video Mode. The Slo-Mo mode allows you to record videos at 120fps with a FULL HD (1080p) resolution. If you playback the 120fps video at 30fps, you get a 4x Slow Motion effect. If you want to get the maximum SloMo effect, I recommend you to playback the final video with 24fps. 24fps leads to a 5x SloMo effect. When you open your SloMo video in the Insta360 APP the video is automatically slowed down 4x, with a framerate of 30fps. There are no additional adjustments needed, if you export your video you get a 4x SloMo video with a output framerate of 30fps. I really appreciate, the Insta360 GO 2 allows you to apply the flowstate stabilization even in the SloMo video mode. With the Flowstate stabilization activated you get a really professional smooth SloMo Shot. Here is an additional Gimbal Guru Tipp: If you want to slow down your video even more, you can do this with the Speed button in the Insta360 APP. Select ¼ and mark the area on the timeline which you want to additionally slow down. When you now look at the preview the clip looks jerky, but if you export the video you get a smooth Ultra SloMo Video! This additional SloMo effect is reached through frame interpolation and is a fake Slow Motion effect. This is the reason why you see wired artefacts if the motion in the video is too complex. But for simple movements this Fake Ultra SloMo effect is amazing. With this tip you are possible to reach a 10x SloMotion effect just with this little camera!
