A 4th one....it may be the last one but it needs a console port! Virtua Striker 4 Ver.2006 is an update from 'Virtua Striker 4' on the Triforce arcade hardware as this had online play through Sega's ALL.Net. Going by that, an interesting feature for Vers.2006 is the use of player's card which is basically a memory card as the player can save the progress and preferences! To go by the actual sport, stamina bar were added as the players in-game can lose it by dribbling or running but the bars can be replenished by the start of each half. On a personal note, one thing that I clocked onto is the use of real football players so it mirrored the World Cup squads or Sega must have used the FIFPro license (I could be wrong on the latter!) Ver.2006 was a unique one with everything mentioned and could have been more but the downfall is that it never was released on consoles and Sega concentrated more on other franchises rather than this...the same can be said of others. The best way to the play this is through emulation on PC or the Wii like I did! 'Virtua Striker 4: Ver. 2006' was emulated through 'Nintendont' on the actual Nintendo Wii hardware, recorded on the ClonerAlliance Box Pro and re-encoded through Adobe Premiere Pro.
