Ever since the new temporary schedule change by CSX, Saturday M327 runs seems to have have advantages when it comes to seeing large trains. I was fortunate this specific train run was 168 cars. I had no plans for the day so I got the train and had an unexpected horn tap by the engineer plus a wave off camera! M327-14 @ 4:53 Grand Rapids Markup with RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #7033 + #3160 & 168 cars (66 loads and 102 empties) @ 11,725 tons and 9,796 ft long. They are starting to build their train at this time. Power came from L302-12’s train. M327-14 @ 6:35 WB Approach Medium at Ivanrest mp CG4.7 M327-14 @ 6:44 WB Medium Clear signal at Grandville, MI.
