Have you ever wondered how everything around us came to be? The bright sun, the vast blue sky, and even you? Let's take a journey back to the very beginning. Imagine a time when there was nothing. Just emptiness and darkness everywhere. But then, a powerful voice spoke. "Let there be light!" And just like that, light burst forth, chasing the darkness away. God saw the light and called it "day," and the darkness he called "night." That was the very first day. On the second day, God looked at all the water and said, "I will divide the water." He created a great space above the waters, and he called this beautiful, open space "sky." Imagine looking up and seeing that brand new sky for the first time! The third day brought something new. God commanded the waters to move back, and dry ground appeared. He didn't just make flat land; he sculpted it into majestic mountains, rolling hills, and deep valleys. The world was starting to take shape, ready for life. What good is a day without a sun? On the fourth day, God placed a brilliant, shining sun in the sky to warm the daytime. And for the night, he created a gentle, glowing moon and sprinkled countless twinkling stars across the dark canvas. It must have been a spectacular sight. Day five was all about movement and life in the water and air. God filled the oceans with swishy fish of all shapes and sizes and fascinating, squiggly creatures. Then, he looked to the sky he had made and filled it with birds, allowing them to soar and sing across the vast expanse. The world was becoming a lively, bustling place. On the sixth day, the land came alive. God created all sorts of animals. Creatures that creep and crawl, some that hop and others that gallop. From the tiniest insect to the largest beast, the land was now home to an amazing variety of animals. But God's work wasn't finished. From the dust of the ground, he formed his most wonderful creation: the very first person, and he named him Adam. After six days of incredible creation, what happened on the seventh day? God looked at everything he had made—the light, the sky, the land, the sun, moon, and stars, the fish, the birds, the animals, and the first man. He saw that it was all very good. And so, on the seventh day, God rested, enjoying the beautiful world he had brought into being. What an incredible story of how our world began.
