The Election Commission has announced the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of electoral rolls across the country. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar made the announcement at a press conference held on Monday evening. After Bihar, the process of electoral roll revision will now begin in 12 states and Union Territories. These include Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The Chief Election Commissioner said that the SSR will be launched in the selected states based on the preparations made for the SSR in Bihar. चुनाव आयोग ने देशभर में मतदाता सूची पुनरीक्षण यानी एसआईआर का एलान कर दिया है। सोमवार शाम को आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार ने इसकी घोषणा की। बिहार के बाद अब 12 राज्यों व केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों में मतदाता सूची पुनरीक्षण की प्रक्रिया शुरू की जाएगी। इनमें अंडमान निकोबार द्वीपसमूह, छत्तीसगढ़, गोवा, गुजरात, केरल, लक्षद्वीप, मध्य प्रदेश, पुड्डचेरी, राजस्थान, तमिलनाडु, उत्तर प्रदेश और पश्चिम बंगाल शामिल हैं।मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ने कहा कि बिहार में SIR की तैयारी के आधार पर चयनित राज्यों में SIR की शुरुआत की जाएगी। #electioncommissionSIR #electioncommission #sir #biharelection2025 #upelection #hindinews About Us - Dainik Jagran is the flagship brand of the company.
