How To Change Your Chinese Diesel Heaters Temp Sensor - Error code 9 or Randomly Blowing Cold Air

Hi everybody, we’re back with another Chinese Diesel heater video and today we are covering a very common fault that is very cheap to fix and takes about 2 mins to do. If you are getting error code 09 or you have noticed that your heater is turning on by itself but only blowing cold air the most likely problem is your temp sensor has failed. These are just as easy to change by yourself at home and all you need is a hex key but you need to get one that is compatible with your controller and wiring loom. If the connector on your wiring loom that attaches to your controller isn’t a rounded triangle there is a good chance you are going to need to change all three. This is because the majority of controllers, motherboards and wiring looms for sale separately use that system. This system has 3 cables going from the motherboard through the wiring loom and into the controller and is completely different to some of the set ups that come with the heaters.
