Morgan from the Argoed Lywd team has explored beautiful underground caves that few people have seen and participated in epic cave rescues with the South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team. In this episode of Crew Adventures, we hear about Morgan’s involvement in a record-breaking 54-hour cave rescue in the Ogof Ffynnon Ddu cave system in the Brecon Beacons, assisting 300 others to save a fellow caver’s life. Runways End Outdoor Centre Our first carbon neutral site, Runway’s End sits beside the Basingstoke Canal and boasts a wide range of environmental and adventure activities on land and water. Nestled in the tranquil woodlands of north Hampshire, between Farnborough and Aldershot, the site offers a range of accommodation, from traditional camping to heated camping pods, or the use of our fully equipped lodge house. The centre can accommodate groups for single sessions, full days, or residential visits, with activities blended perfectly into the scenic environment. Argoed Lwyd Outdoor Education Centre Located in the beautiful Brecon Beacons with views over to Pen y Fan, South Wales’ highest mountain, Argoed Lwyd Outdoor Education Centre is a converted 19th century traditional Welsh farmhouse that can accommodate both large and smaller groups.
