Lori Tilkin deFelice Talks Producing 'The Killer' Now Streaming on Peacock

Lori Tilkin deFelice is Head of Production at A Better Tomorrow Films, overseeing television and film projects for renowned Hong Kong director John Woo. She manages the Los Angeles office, handling operations and producing content from inception through production. Tilkin deFelice has worked closely with Woo throughout his Hollywood career, beginning with the 1996 film 'Broken Arrow', starring John Travolta and Christian Slater. She is currently producing Woo's remake of *The Killer*, which stars Nathalie Emmanuel and Omar Sy, and was a passion project she developed over several years. She also produced Woo’s 2023 action film 'Silent Night', starring Joel Kinnaman. Tilkin deFelice joins us to speak about her latest film, 'The Killer' a remake of a film her and Woo, making its anniversary and updating the story for a Western audience. In addition to her work in film, Tilkin deFelice is the Executive Director of Kybele Dance Theater, producing performances and residencies internationally. Her dance background also informed her work on The Killer remake, where she played a key role in hiring the choreographer. Tilkin deFelice holds a master’s degree in Chinese language and literature from Washington University in St. Louis. She has studied dance and theater internationally, including in Taiwan and Beijing. She also created and performed a one-woman Chinese theater and dance show in the U.S. and China.
