The first Secret Station level of the game, accesible once the player has acquired 4 Golden Remotes. It's the hardest SS level of the three in my opinion. First, the camera is all over the place, it wont stand still no matter what you do. All hell breaks loose once you reach the lava river that you must navigate by using the Bone Rafts, the problem being they move quite fast and sometimes there will be one of those troublesome fire snakes between the raft itself and the platforms where Gex must land in order to advance. Secret Gex Tape N°1 can be found before the final section with the descending rafts that the player must climb to reach the only red remote of the level. To the left of the gigantic lava falls there's a secret fossil that you can use to ascend. This will grant you access to a completely obscure cave and at the end of it, you will face a fire breathing statue that, once defeated, will reveal the secret tape. The secret tapes are really nothing special whoever. Once you acquire it and finish the level, it will play a very short movie sequence. They are required to complete the game at 100%.
