Today's daily update video from South Africa is on 1 July 2025. We begin today's video with an accident on N14 between Kuruman and Vryburg in the North West Province of South Africa. From there we go to Marloth Park near Komatipoort. It was a lovely day on Santos Beach in Mossel Bay before the cold front arrives tomorrow. Kraalbaai at the Preekstoel in the West Coast National Park. We spend some time on the grass plains in the Mokala National Park near Kimberley. We stop at the Colombine Co. Coffee Shop in Velddrif. It's a cold winter day in Mossel Bay today. We do gin tasting at the Tahlia Farm Distillery in Montagu. Repairs to the causeway across the Seekoei River at Aston Bay in the Eastern Cape Province. It is the Val Farmer's Day preparations, and we'll show you more of South Africa. Today, on 1 July 2025, South Africa is expected to experience partly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, particularly over the south-western interior. The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a warning for damaging interior winds over the Northern Cape, highlighting potential risks from strong winds in that region. Meanwhile, fine and cool conditions are forecast for the central interior, including Lesotho and surrounding areas, while the northeast, such as Limpopo, will see partly cloudy weather. Residents in the Northern Cape should prepare for strong winds, and those in the south-western interior should be ready for possible rain and thunderstorms.
