Well, it's how I open every episode, as a salute to service - to be clear, I am not now nor have I ever been in the armed forces - I count myself among the protected and thank those that have for their service! I used it in the thumbnail because of the "3-finger-salute" reference. Which is also generating a lot of traffic from frat houses, but I'm not sure why. But I figured I should call it out in the description since I'm saluting in the thumbnail! In the comments, someone pointed out that my longtime phrase of "I'm not selling anything..." is not entirely true when I'm also pimping a book 30 seconds later (the mug sales go to a charity, as always).
