It's always a hardy welcome and delight to have snowfall at the cottage, as it is a rarity! Join me in making butter, savory pie, and cozy sewing to finish a project I started for a blizzard 4 years ago. Oh well, what goes around comes around I suppose! Pork, Leek and Potato Pie Recipe: https://www.rhubarbandlavender.com/re... My Additions: Use Hot or Mild sausage instead of ground pork. Sauté the leeks in the sausage fat, instead of pouring it out. Season cubed potatoes with butter, dill, salt, pepper, sage and thyme. (I bypass the heavy cream and flour mixture and I find that it tastes just as good.) Mix the cooked leeks, sausage and potatoes together in a bowl, folding in the spices until all are evenly coated.
