MC Road Development: ₹5,217 Crore earmarked for the development of MC Road. Rare Earth Corridor: A new corridor connecting Vizhinjam to Chavara and Kochi to tap into critical minerals. 🛡️ Social Welfare & Pensions: Welfare Pensions: Increased to ₹2,000 per month; ₹14,500 Crore total allocation. ASHA & Anganwadi Workers: Monthly honorarium hiked by ₹1,000. Assured Pension Scheme: Introduction of a new pension scheme for government employees (replacing NPS) starting April 1. 🏥 Health & Safety: Sthree Suraksha Scheme: ₹3,720 Crore for women's safety initiatives. Insurance for Students: ₹15 Crore for life/accident insurance for school students (Class 1-12). Life Saver Scheme: Cashless treatment for the first 5 days for road accident victims. 📉 Fiscal Indicators: Total Expenditure: ₹2.40 Lakh Crore. Fiscal Deficit: 3.4% of GSDP.
