In this video, I fully restore an antique KW Carl Wieden lighter, made in Germany back in 1920. Can you believe it? This lighter is 105 years old! I bought it from an online auction for just $12, but it arrived in terrible condition: the original plating was almost completely worn off, the body was covered in heavy patina and corrosion, and part of the flint mechanism was missing. During the restoration process, I: removed all oxidation and signs of aging, rebuilt the missing mechanical parts, polished the body and applied a fresh layer of shiny nickel plating, carefully preserved the original manufacturer's stamp.
