📍 Singapore Indoor Stadium, Kallang, Singapore 🇸🇬 📆 July 29th, 2001 🚍 Parachutes Tour 📼 Video/Audience Recording On July 29th, 2001, Coldplay arrived in Singapore for the first time during the Australasian leg of their Parachutes Tour, performing live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium as the opening act for the Scottish band Travis (recognized by Coldplay themselves as "one of their biggest influences throughout his career). During the performance of "Everything's Not Lost", Chris Martin stopped mid-song to tell the people in the stands to stop moving their lighters. He then explained that "they're not Bon Jovi and waving the lighters during the ballads aren't really necessary" At this concert, the Hank Williams' cover song "Lost Highway" was performed even though it was not listed on the printed setlist. Meanwhile, the songs "A Rush of Blood to the Head" and "See You Soon" were on the setlist, however, but were not performed. Setlist: 00:00 Shiver (cut-in) 02:57 Spies (cut) 05:01 Animals (early version) 10:03 Don't Panic 12:51 God Put a Smile Upon Your Face (early version) 18:14 Everything's Not Lost 24:39 Idiot (unreleased song) 30:46 Yellow Encore: 36:41 In My Place (early version) Encore 2: 41:44 Trouble 47:15 Lost Highway (Hank Williams cover)* Special thanks for the user @halief for the footage video. All rights go to him. *Sorry for the second half of "Lost Highway", the video stopped XD, I'll see if I can fix it.
