Shingo Gokan and Steve Schneider, two of the top bartenders, have returned to New York and opened the cocktail bar Sip & Guzzle! The unique concept of Sip & Guzzle divides the space into two distinct areas: Sip and Guzzle. The reason for splitting Sip & Guzzle into two spaces is to provide guests with energetic and fun experiences with the bartenders at Guzzle, while hoping they can enjoy leisurely and precious moments at Sip, reminiscent of a Japanese-style bar. Firstly, Guzzle on the ground floor is led by Schneider, a world-renowned bartender from New York's Employees Only. This space draws inspiration from 1860s New York taverns and offers classic-style cocktails along with more casual and familiar options like Apple Manhattans, Pornstar Mojitos, and Highballs. Sip, located in the basement, is managed by Gokan, who hails from the renowned Angel's Share in New York. Gokan has been involved in various projects with Schneider, including Speak Low, Sober Company, The Odd Couple in Tokyo, and numerous cocktail bars in Shanghai. Moreover, the head bartender at Sip is Ben Yabrow, formerly of Double Chicken Please, currently the second-ranked cocktail bar globally.
