This has been a real eye opener! We are learning a lot during our time in Turkey, we knew pretty much nothing about this beautiful country before we came, and had no idea about the numerous ruins we would encounter from Roman History. The Ancient City of Ephesus and the history of Artemis absolutely fascinated us. As well as that enjoying the quaint charm of the people, the food and the culture Turkey has to offer. We have loved exploring the beautiful seaside town of Avaylik, full of cats and cobbled streets, its definitely worth a visit for the Bazaar area alone!! Overlanding all the way from UK through Europe to Turkey has been a very enriching and humbling experience so far. ⤈ WHO WE ARE ⤈ We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. So after waiting for six months for the borders to reopen in Ireland we have finally hit the road in June 2021 and spent 90 days enjoying vanlife in Spain.
