SOA Presents The Goodmans 1982

Sing Out America proudly presents, The Goodmans! Emerging from one of the greatest Southern Gospel singing groups of all time, The Happy Goodman Family, Rusty Goodman, his daughter Tanya Goodman, brother Sam Goodman and Michael English formed "The Goodmans" in 1982. Howard and Vestal Goodman had left The Happy Goodmans to pursue other gospel avenues, so Rusty, Sam, Tanya rebooted the family group with lead singer extraordinaire, Michael English! This special presentation represents one of the few, if only tapings of this wonderful group that performed exclusively for our "Sing Out America" television program. The Goodmans were only together in this configuration for a short time before Michael joined The Singing Americans and Rusty, Sam and Tanya each pursued solo careers. We were very fortunate to have this multi-talented combination of the best in Southern Gospel Music performing for our program and are privileged to present it right here, once again on Sing Out America!
