"I would never get involved with a Handmaid. It'd be suicide." SO. MUCH. ANGST. In my opinion, this may be the heaviest episode of The Handmaid's Tale: the rape scene (it was gut-wrenching, revolting, repulsing and impossible to watch without crying, fuck you Commander and Mrs. Waterford, I hope you burn in hell); the reunion of June and Hannah (that "mommy" part killed me, also cried in this one); and Nick being taken by the Eyes (another tear was shed when he wasn't back like he said he would). Give my babies a break! I suspect about that last scene where the Eyes take Nick from the house. I strongly believe that the Commander had something to do with this. Think about it, after June told the Commander about him not knowing what is like to have a baby of his own flesh and blood (and he never will) he must have guessed. Serena had already told him that he was not the father and ever since he suspected of Nick, that's why he wanted to send him to Washington and then ended up marring him. Now he just had the perfect opportunity. I don't know it that makes sense, I can be wrong but come on... what about that line Nick says to Eden? "I would never get involved with a Handmaid. It'd be suicide". I'm afraid something will happen to him. I really hope Nick is okay, tho. And maybe June will be able to hide or escape? Oh please they need to be together, they need to see each other again. I'm so scared for my fave ship. Protect Nick and June at all costs. (Btw, I liked this video so much - I really hope it doesn't get blocked - and this may be the first coloring I edited that looks nice, so yay!
