Hi everyone. In this weeks set of videos I’m making an alcove unit. This is generally a cabinet with a bookcase above it that sits alongside the chimney breast in the Victorian-era houses you typically find in industrialised cities throughout the UK. They’re not difficult to do and well within the capabilities of most DIYers, though there are a few things that you need to be aware of. This video shows you how I do mine. Enjoy!
