After my previous upgrades of the brushless system the car was doing way too many backflips. Got a long wheelbase chassis off ebay and had to do some mods to the transmission mounts to get it to work. Also went to dual steering servos using the existing servos even though they are mismatched it's working well. I think the only original parts left are the wheels, transmission and bumpers. I should have just bought a roller. Anyway parts and upgrades are easier with the long wheelbase setup. Update truck has been running for about a month now at the track and in the snow. 2 trips to the track with no broken parts is a record! On the downside at home I sheared the front drive shaft going from ice to dry pavement. And the front differential carrier screws sheared again in snow to dry pavement. Rear differential broke in same place doing monster truck donuts in the dirt. Transmission mounts are holding up great! Dogs can't keep up with the truck it's crazy fast. Take it easy accelerating on the turns and it will hold up great! Handles so much better now!
