The Prayoonto team went out to Cecil County Dragway on May 2nd 2020 for a private track rental. Angel Cruz is the owner of the Clutchmasters SFWD/XFWD class Honda Civic better known as "Goldie" and Robert Mapps has been piloting this Turbo K series monster for a few seasons now. They set the K series XFWD class record with a 8.09 at 188mph during Atco Fall Nationals in October of 2019. This was a private track rental and not an event so the 8.088 pass is "unofficial" but they are still the K series XFWD record holders and this was a day of great data for them. Robert made a handful of passes during this rental as many of the things on this car are not what they were when it went 8.09 so to already crack off a Personal Best with all the new changes is a great start. No XFWD/SFWD class K series powered has been sevens yet and that is this teams goal! For now this will do: 60'... 1.489 330... 3.804 1/8... 5.488 MPH... 148.67mph 1000... 6.897 1/4... 8.088 MPH... 186.15mph This video captures all of Roberts passes from the day as he clicked off consistently quicker passes. Angel, Norris and Rob worked between passes to sort out the new changes and Rob Reinen dialed in the new Motec ECU. We had multiple in car cameras set up and you can see the skill and consistency in Roberts driving every pass. We understand this video is a bit long but we wanted to show as much as we could in and out of the car on each pass.
