“One Taken.” Here, we continue to examine some prophetic questions that have confused many believers. Many contend that the rapture is taught in Matthew 24:40-41, which says, “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.” But is this really a rapture passage? We do not think so. Although we believe that the doctrine of the pre-tribulation rapture can be successfully defended from other New Testament passages, we do not think that this particular passage is speaking of the rapture.
