So while this definitely counts as two figures instead of one, I basically still reviewed it as if it is a single release. Especially considering that Luffy is just a statue. This SH Figuarts One Piece Shanks & Luffy Childhood Action Figure is a step in the right direction, but there isn’t really much that separates this release from anything we’ve gotten recently. It’s no better, but I’m happy to say that it’s also no worse. There are a few things they could’ve done better and I tried to make sure it’s to highlight them in the actual review. Despite the fact that this action figure has issues, it’s still very enjoyable, and I would highly recommend getting your hands on it if you are able to do so. From what I have seen, he is completely out of stock in Japan, so you will probably have to look for a domestic release. Of course, that means that the price is going to be a little bit higher, but I do think he is worth it. try to get your hands on him before he reaches aftermarket pricing because I wouldn’t recommend spending over $100 on this if you don’t have to.
