I really enjoy making this jam for holiday gift giving. It makes a nice treat to share with friends and neighbors, and it's one of the easiest jams to make, I think. The contrast between the tartness of the cranberries, the heat from the habaneros and the sweetness of the sugar really sets off the depth of flavor in the jam. We love it on grilled ham (or turkey) and cheese sandwiches, as an accompaniment to peas or other vegetable or as a basting sauce for grilled or roasted pork or chicken. It also makes a tasty addition to your charcuterie and cheese boards for your holiday celebrations. My original recipe calls for 2 packages of cranberries. I generally cut that amount now to 1 pound, but it's totally up to you. If you like more fruit in your jam, definitely go with the larger amount. Also, if you prefer less heat, then use jalapenos instead of the habaneros. Either way, it'll be a crowd pleaser. Two things: Yes I know my apron was on backwards (duh!) and I really did retrieve the label from the bell pepper:) Making videos is an adventure, y'all! Blessings for happy holidays!
