I sure you, your humidity percentage on Boveda pack will not change and will be remaining exactly what it says on it. Every single pack have a different mixture of chemicals in them, so for that reason it will remains same so you will not be able to overcharge your packs too!!! I been asked that many times... My method will not ruin paper on the pack !! Unless you not using distilled water. It's very important to use distilled water, wash your hands in prior to that and wipe your surface where you placing your wet paper towel. You want to make sure you keep it clean as possible, because you will have a chance to ruin everything and possible grow mold. I did this many many times and mine still looks the same and work great! You can also use different method by simply filling your tupperware with a distilled water and placing your packs above water, on supports so it will not touch water. Container have to be sealed, it will work but going to take much longer..
