Showing how to setup an ultrasonic cold mist humidifier. First find a save spot for the base. Do not place it on a carpet or wooden table, since the area around the humidifier may get wet. A glass table like shown works great. Than connect the power cord and fill the tank with water. When the humidifier starts to dispense the cold mist, check out the direction the mist is taking. It should be going up. In case it is falling down to the table right away, turn down the control knob until the mist is going up. Otherwise there may be a puddle all around the base of the unit soon. In case you notice a white dust around the unit, this may mean that you are using too hard of water. Consider using demineralized water or a water filter.
