About the Webinar's Presenter : Dr. Johannes Petrus (aka Janpieter) van Dijk Janpieter van Dijk graduated and obtained his PhD degree at Utrecht University (the Netherlands), and has 29 years of worldwide experience in Oil and Gas, in New Ventures, Exploration, Appraisal and Production, both in a conventional and unconventional setting and in Renewables, specifically CCUS and Geothermal Energy Generation. He is a qualified Resources Auditor, for the issue of PCR. His main professional occupation is Surface and Subsurface Modeling, Prospect Generation (Seismic Mapping, Ranking, Risking), and Asset Management, Global Networking, Research and Technology Development, and, more in general, Technical and Geoscience Management. Additionally, he published numerous research papers and 2 books on tectonostratigraphy, structural geology, basin evolution, geodynamics, history of science and technology, and computer modelling. He is a major expert in Fractured and Faulted Reservoir Characterization and Modeling. Furthermore, he regularly organizes courses and field workshops, holds lectures at conferences and is a member of several editorial boards.
