Pole Position in the Wet at Silverstone… But It Didn’t End in P1 Started on pole at Silverstone International in tricky wet conditions for this Australian Strength of Field race. Managed to control the race for multiple laps, keeping the field behind while the track got quicker each lap. But in conditions like this, one small mistake or one slightly better exit is all it takes…eventually I was overtaken by one half of The Flying Finns. Finished P2 in a tough, high-strength field — not the win, but strong points and a hard-fought race in extremely challenging conditions. Wet racing at Silverstone is never easy.
