Our version Derek the Raccoon handles just as good if not better than the original. Here is Graeme Shaw performing with Derek the Raccoon at the Blackpool Magic Convention this year, where he won The UK Family Entertainer Of The Year 2020. This Raccoon has synthetic fur. Not only does it handle really well, but it's also far cheaper and DOES NOT use real fur. Yes OK, the fur doesn’t look exactly the same as the original with real fur and its not as soft. However, it will wear better and you know it's not real fur so you can have a clear conscious.
