In my upcoming video series I will provide real, honest videos documenting my personal surgery journey in Thailand as an Australian. I share why I chose Thailand, real costs, hospital care, recovery, insurance, and what Id do differently - to help other Australians considering overseas surgery make informed decisions. When not travelling, my husband and I are exploring Cairns life, from Cairns, the Northern Beaches, Palm Cove, Port Douglas and everywhere in between. Relocating to Far North Queensland (FNQ) from Newcastle as a 55+ couple. We have upcoming trips planned for Bali, Thailand and Peru in 2026 and will be sharing lots of our holiday adventures. Where we will go next - will we stay settled in Cairns or will we relocate somewhere else in the world or Australia. This has definitely been on our mind....... We will be exploring our options during our journeys and trying to figure out how we can bring forward our retirement sooner rather than later.
