There is still a 'usage gap' of 3.4 billion people who have access to mobile broadband coverage, but are either unable or unwilling to use it. A lack of basic digital skills is one of the key barriers for mobile internet adoption. The GSMA Mobile Internet Skills Training Toolkit (MISTT) was created to address this barrier. The MISTT uses a 'train the trainer' approach to help MNOs and other digital players in low- and middle-income countries to get more people online through short lessons that can be easily adapted to local needs and languages. The training materials in this section of the MISTT focus on how mobile internet can be useful to women and their families in India. Short videos are used to teach different skills. This is the first video in the 'Searching for Information' pathway, and teaches people how to use their voice to search for information on Google.
