A coastal championship turns dirty when Chick Hicks rams McQueen and dumps waste oil, sending him skidding off the cliff and into the sea. Dragged into the deep by a giant octopus and swallowed, McQueen fuses into Octopus McQueen. In the abyss he dominates—sea life scatters, a great white shark falls, and the sea trident is claimed. He resurfaces to avenge the sabotage, but the crowd flees in fear.
