Over the next 9 videos, I will discuss criteria for NPD to help you learn more about narcissistic traits in a relationship. I will discuss what are traits of narcissism and what are the nine traits of narcissistic personality disorder. When you can understand each of the individual traits, you can better understand what makes someone a narcissist. The narcissist’s fantasy world keeps them trapped in their narcissist traits. The narcissists fantasy world allows them to continue to believe their sense of entitlement and that they are better than everyone else. The narcissist can continue to believe that they are entitled to more due to the fantasy world they have created and firmly believe in. In this video I discuss what is grandiose thinking. It is important to understand the arrogance and grandiosity portrayed by a narcissist so you can stay a step ahead of their control and manipulation. Grandiose narcissism maintains the sense of entitlement those around them think they have. For the grandiose narcissist, they think everything is about them. They can do no wrong and everyone else is to blame. The covert narcissist still has grandiose thinking but it is less obvious and in your face. So what is a grandiose sense of self?
