The rear engine cover known in VW circles as the "decklid" gets installed, and it is no small task as aftermarket parts put up a fight requiring modification and fabrication work before a perfect fit can be achieved. Then this custom beetle gets a much deserved spa treatment with a wash, after which it takes to the road with Brandon at the wheel for a very enjoyable test drive. At the end of the day the '55 Oval is ready to go back home to it's owner, while Brandon and his trusty sidekick Addie the greyhound decompress from a job well done cast their sights on what's next...
