Salvage is concidered the hardest mission type for a true solo clear on Scout. The limited area you have to work with during uplink and refuel are brutal for a class that relies heavily on ignoring most enemies. If you want a challenge, this is the mission to focus on. However, I came up with a clever strategy to utilize special powder to my advantage. Im calling it the Pogo strat. You are able to achieve near infinite flight with the help of the boomsticks reload speed upgrade. You do lose out on the burst damage of quickfire, so the initial cave breach and repair phase will be a little slower. Currently there has only been a handfull of people to complete a 6x2 salvage without the help of pheromone grenades. Its been a long time goal for me to ascend to similar status as these legendary salvage warriors, but the thought of grinding out 100 attempts of the same mission type put me off for a long time. This week I contracted the flu and had to call in sick to work for the time being, leaving me with nothing but a cough, a runny nose and a crap load of time to drown into mindless salvage attempts. When I do eventually clear salvage, expect a video on it. I will be posting a run with no coms and later on a full breakdown of the challenge with a voiceover and editing. Tho, that will probably take long to make, since I am lazy.
