This 1964 Cutlass is a Ground Up, body on restoration that was just completed. Finished in its original color of Wedgewood Mist base coat / clear coat. It has high Intensity Halogen Headlights and of course all new weatherstripping. The engine is a “403" block bored .040 over with Mondello 10.5: 1 pistons, Edelbrock performer cam and lifters, Performer Plus intake and a new billet aluminum HEI Distributor. The heads are Oldsmobile #5 High Flow Heads (64cc) and the exhaust manifolds are new design high flow, no crossover like the original, with 2.5-inch H pipe true dual exhaust system. Cooling is handled by a new HD High Volume aluminum radiator with 3,000+ CFM electric fan with a recovery tank. The transmission is a Oldsmobile OZ code 2004-R with a 2400 RPM lock up converter and a Shitworks cable operated shifter kit. A new HD driveshaft transfers the power to a 8.2 BOP Posi rear completely rebuilt with a new carrier and 3:73 gears. The front suspension is all new with Tubular upper and lower control arms with poly bushings. The rear trailing arms are also tubular / boxed and feature poly bushings also. The brake system is Disc / Drum with dual reservoir. The quick ratio steering box has been rebuilt with 3-1/4 turns lock to lock. Factory Olds Rallye wheels with Cooper Cobra tires keeps everything in contact with the road. The interior features power windows, mostly new chrome, new carpets, and the seats have new foam, springs and upholstery for added firmness and stability. New 3-point seat belts and new gauges with original warning lights. The stereo is a new retro AM FM with 4 speakers and USB that sounds great. The floors and doors are foil backed insulated. This car was a one owner car from 1964 until 2019 when this project got started. This is one turn key classic that you don't want to miss.
