Filling Tailor's Hams with Sawdust

Just a quick demonstration on how I fill my sewing hams, (tailor's hams, pressing hams, whatever you want to call them) with compacted sawdust. I use a ham-filling receptacle I created out of a modified trash can, with a wooden cross-beam that acts as a gantry which allows the ham to dangle freely and allow the sawdust to spread freely, Then, using a tamp, the sawdust is pressed down into the ham to create room for yet even more dust, scoop after scoop, until the ham is filled in its entirety and beaten into submission to allow for what? Yes, more sawdust. It takes about 5 gallons of sawdust to fill an entire full-sized ham. Sometimes more. This method of filling them allows things to go quicker and relatively pain free, though quite honestly, it's the least fun and most dirty portion of the making process. The quicker done, the better!
