There are all sorts of factors, too much to explain here, but just to name a few. -having an ideal amount of tank mates/ideal species that don't pose a territorial threat. -a good amount of space to swim in random flow along with lots of areas to hide & @ the same time. -having a back up plan to when the tang gets too big for comfort is a must. -For myself, my intentions were to get this tang a new home by the time it reached 2.5" of length.
