In this film, we take a trip through Trondheim city center on an ordinary Friday in August 2025. We start the journey from the south at the Studentesamfundet and head north over the Nidelva (Nid River) toward Nidaros Cathedral. Then, we make our way toward Bakklandet and move eastward. The weather is changeable. We begin the trip with cloudy skies and rain but end up with sunshine and a clear blue sky. ☀️ For this film, I had to use a different camera, as my usual GoPro is under repair. The quality is not the best. Regarding sound, this film is best experienced with headphones. This is because the audio is in so-called 3D binaural format for the first 8 minutes. After that, due to strong winds, I had to use another microphone that records so-called Spatial Audio for the rest of the trip. Why headphones? 🎧 This film’s audio is crafted with uncompressed, dynamic 3D sound for a vivid, realistic experience. Headphones are recommended because they deliver binaural audio’s spatial cues, mimicking natural hearing, and preserve the sound’s clarity and depth, which standard speakers cannot fully reproduce due to acoustic limitations. 00:00 Intro 05:00 Nidarosdomen 07:00 Gamle Bybry (Old Town Bridge) 09:00 Bakklandet 12:34 Bakke kirke 13:50 Kirkegata 15:26 Nedre Møllenberg gate 16:31 Rosenborg gate (Rosenborg Dampbakeri) 17:55 Innherredsveien 22:18 Ulstadløkkveien 24:31 Mellomveien 25:48 Lilleby Stasjon 26:44 Jarleveien 27:07 Bjørn Stallares gate 28:20 Lademoparken 31:12 Innherredsveien/Anders Buens gate 31:43 FV865 33:00 Rosendal Teater (Innherredsveien) 35:14 Gamle Kongevei #norway #trondheim #visitnorway #binauralaudio #spatialaudio #travel
