Impressive floor styling and renovation with the transfer technique

With the transfer technique shown here you can have the most varied designs and styling on your floor -- for example company logos, signposts, or one of over a hundred ready-made design motifs from the Dr. Schutz Design Collection -- these are artistic, decorative, playful -- your choice is almost unlimited ! In the case of larger motifs, like this one, the backing foil is fixed with adhesive tape. Afterwards the plastic foil is rolled up again, so that a Dr. Schutz PU sealer can be rolled onto the floor in order to fix it. Here PU Sealer gloss is used. After a short airing time, the foil is unrolled directly onto the still moist sealer -- be careful not to apply too much sealer. Excess sealer and air-bubbles are evened out, using a plastic spatula. The sealer fixes the floor design motif after a short drying time. When the sealer has dried, the backing foil can be peeled off. For this a clean, wet cloth is used, or in the case of larger areas a clean mop with water which is applied onto the backing foil. Afterwards you can peel the damp backing foil from the floor -- the motif is now embedded in the sealer layer lying underneath, or rather has been transferred to the floor! Finally, the area is sealed with a transparent renovation sealer from Dr. Schutz. Here Super PU Sealer mat or satin is used. The matt sealer interplays with the layer lying underneath, with its motif and sealer -- thus creating a beautiful, balanced image. The final sealer is hard-wearing and provides the floor and its embedded motif with long-term protection against scratches and friction damage. The last coat of sealer should have hardened about 12 hours after drying, before it can be walked on carefully.
