#gaziantep #gaziantepyemekleri #metanet #yesemek #tahmiskahvesi #imamacagdas “Metanet Beyran” “Tahmis Kahvesi” “Yesemek Restoran” “İmam Çağdaş” In this vlog, we explored the food capital of Turkey — Gaziantep — and tried some of the most famous local dishes in just one day! Our first stop was Metanet Lokantası, where we tasted the legendary Beyran soup, a rich and spicy lamb and rice soup traditionally served for breakfast in Gaziantep. We also tried their famous lahmacun. Next, we visited the historic Tahmis Kahvesi, one of the oldest coffee houses in Turkey, to drink authentic Menengiç coffee (a traditional Turkish pistachio coffee made from wild pistachios). For dessert, we stopped by Metanet Katmer and enjoyed crispy Katmer — a thin, flaky pastry filled with pistachio and cream, one of the most iconic desserts of the region. Later, we had dinner at Yesemek Restoran, where we tried Ayvalı Tas Kebabı (a slow-cooked lamb stew with quince) and a mixed tasting platter featuring traditional Gaziantep specialties. Finally, we visited İmam Çağdaş to buy their world-famous baklava to take home — we were too full to eat more!
