Seen here is Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services' brand new Rescue Engine 15 (RE15) responding in place for Engine 7 on it's first ever recorded alarms call together with Ladder 7 (Downtown). The alarms call was soon upgraded to a first alarm fire due to a caller reporting smoke in an upper floor of a building near Burrard St. and Pacific St. Battalion Chief 1 soon reached the scene as well to establish command. Engine 6 and Quint 6 also assisted. Firefighters remained on scene for quite some time investigating the source of the smoke, which was being aired out.
