Spring skiing in dazzling sunshine | Bjorli, Norway

Join us on our skiing trip in Bjorli! On our way from Ålesund to Bjorli we quickly stopped by Trollveggen (Troll wall), the beautiful mountain massif / cliffs near Åndalsnes in Rauma. It is famous for rock-climbing, base-jumping and hiking. It was not our destination for the day, so we headed further to Bjorli in search for some beautiful winter landscape. The goal was to be outside in the snow and enjoy the beautiful spring sunshine. We decided to go up from the ski resort's parking lot on a skiing track known as Fjelløypa. In total the track is 12,8 km long, however as soon as we reached the mountain plateau, the path got rather flat. As we were wearing our ski touring equipment, we decided to shortcut our way up a bit and headed straight to our final destination which in this case was the top part of the ski lifts. The views from the top over Reinheimen and Dovrefjell national park was stunning, but it was so windy that we quickly changed our gear and decided to straight away ski down back to our car through the ski resort. The way down through the ski resort was easy and only 4 km long. We came down the mountain just in time for the sunset. My name is Linda and I live in Ålesund, Norway.
