3.9 hp Mercury Kicker is Kicking My Butt - Fuel Delivery Issues - Won’t Stay Running - Part 3 of 6

This is part 3 for this 3.9 hp Mercury with having fuel delivery issues. I have cleaned and rebuilt the carb in part 2 and now experiencing throttle control problems with keeping it idling. I also rebuilt the fuel pump but it started leaking. I then removed the fuel pump for the second time, tightened down all for bolts holding it together reinstalled and it still leaked. At this point, I will remove the pump again and change out the check valves and put it back together with two gaskets sandwiching the rubber bladder in between. Although this is not suggested in the parts diagram I feel it will help keep it from leaking. Part 4 will hopefully show it running properly. I might also order parts to replace and install a new water pump. Stay tuned.
