Drifting Trucks Show! - Iveco Turbostar 190-48 Cisterna, Scania 142 & 144L - V8 Engine Sound 💪

After several years I saw Daniele Quercioli's legendary Iveco Turbostar 190-48 tanker in action performing in a spectacular drifting show. This time accompanied by other trucks, another Iveco Turbostar and a couple of Scania, the 142 and the 144L, all powered by formidable V8 engines. As many of you know, Daniele's first glorious Iveco TurboStar was destroyed in a severe road accident involving the owner. At the time, the truck he used to perform was also his daily work vehicle. A grand gesture by friends and enthusiasts was an extensive offertory which made it possible to repurchase and give him another Iveco Turbostart 190-48, hence the name "Donato". At this point in the story, Daniele decides to get serious; the vehicle's trim and weights are modified, and the engine receives a new injection pump. The truck becomes purely for use in races, competitions and shows, therefore, no longer on the road. We can see it in this video in its current guise, which, like the first time I admired and filmed it, can only arouse amazement and wonder to see it "dance", moving all that mass while the wheels slide. The giant tanker truck is back in the Drift world again! The exhibition is part of a program of competitions that took place throughout the weekend of Motor Bike Expo 2023, organized by Team Area51 in one of the large external parking of the fair. Enjoy! 😉 Dopo diversi anni ho potuto rivedere in azione il mitico Iveco Turbostar 190-48 cisterna di Daniele Quercioli esibirsi in uno spettacolare show di drifting. Questa volta accompagnato da altri camion in modalità "trattore", un'altro Iveco Turbostar ed una paio di Scania, il 142 ed il 144L, tutti mossi dai formidabili motori V8. Come molti di voi sapranno il primo, glorioso, Iveco TurboStar di Daniele è andato distrutto in un grave incidente stradale che ha visto coinvolto anche il proprietario. All'epoca quel camion che utilizzava per esibirsi era anche il suo mezzo di lavoro quotidiano. Un grande gesto da parte di amici ed appassionati è stato quello di una grande colletta che ha permesso di ricomprargli e donargli un'altro Iveco Turbostart 190-48, da qui il nome "Donato". A questo punto della storia Daniele decide di fare sul serio ed il veicolo viene modificato nell'assetto, nei pesi ed anche il motore riceve una nuova pompa di iniezione. Il veicolo diventa prettamente per un'utilizzo in gare, competizioni e show, quindi non più stradale. Possiamo vederlo in questo video nella sua veste attuale che però, come la prima volta in cui l'ho ammirato e fimato, non può che destare stupore e meraviglia nel vederlo "danzare", spostando tutta quella massa mentre le ruote scivolano. Il grande camion cisterna è tornato al Drift e questa volta si fa sul serio! L'esibizione che vedete fa parte di un programma di gare che si è svolto durante tutto il week-end del Motor Bike Expo 2023 organizzato del Team Area51 in uno dei grandi piazzali esterni della fiera.
