During The ICE in St. Moritz I have filmed this 1967 Ferrari Dino 206 S. It's the 14th of a total of only 18 units produced by Piero Drogo's Carrozzeria Sports Cars, most of which in the open-top "spider" model: a rare mid-engine Sports Prototype produced by Ferrari in 1966-1967 under the Dino marque with 2 litre V6 engine named after Enzo Ferrari's late son Alfredo (Dino). From 1967 to 1968 this unit was driven by Edoardo Lualdi (an industrialist and Italian hillclimb Champion) and by Scuderia Sant Ambroueus throughout Italy mainly in hillclimbs races, scoring twice 1st in class and winning more than 15 out of 30 races. The car was sold in 1976 by Ferrari Factory to Alberto Pedretti's "Wide World of Cars" in New York, US, and was driven - between 1976 to 1999 - at several Annual Ferrari Club of America National Meetings . On May 2014, after the sale at the RM Auction "Sporting Legends" in Monaco, the car moved to Switzerland where it took Thomas Schnitzler of Edi Wyss Engineering AG four years to restore, fitted with a new Dino 206 S Spider body built by Carrozzeria Brandoli of Montale, Italy. On August 2018 it was showcased at the 68th Annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Class M-2 for Ferrari Competition cars.
