Former actress Anu Aggarwal’s life journey has resurfaced on social media, reminding many of a rare story of fame, loss, and inner strength. Born in 1969 in New Delhi, Anu excelled academically, earning a gold medal in sociology from Delhi University before entering modelling. Her life changed overnight in 1990 with the blockbuster film Aashiqui, which made her a national sensation at just 21. However, her film career slowed after a few projects, and in 1999, a severe car accident altered everything. She suffered major head injuries and remained in a coma for nearly 29 days. Recovery was long and painful, involving memory loss and relearning basic life skills. Years later, Anu revealed harsh realities of the 1990s film industry, including unpaid work and underworld influence. Choosing not to return to films, she turned towards yoga, spirituality, and healing.
