Hello everyone, so, we are here with the Samsung Galaxy A50s review! The Galaxy A50s is the successor of the Galaxy A50 launched around six months ago. Buy Samsung Galaxy A50s here: http://bit.ly/35NRmLS Before getting into it, let’s get familiar with the Samsung Galaxy A50s Price in Nepal. Samsung Galaxy A50s Price in Nepal: NPR 35,199 Alright, now that we are familiar with the pricing of the Galaxy A50s in Nepal, let’s get started with the review. First of all, it’s important to mention that there has been a recent price drop (as on 23rd December 2019) in the Galaxy A50s. It is now available for Rs. 33,590 in the market. It will be true to say that before the price drop, the phone looked relatively pricier than the others in the market that come for a similar price. But now, the phone makes much more sense than it used to. Talking about the display, you get a 6.4-inches AMOLED screen. And as it is always with Samsung phones, the display has excellent quality and contrast levels. The brightness is sufficient for outdoor usage as well. So, by this, we can say that display is one of the best things about it and in fact, it is the best in this price range. However, the design of the A50s has not seen many updates from its predecessor. In fact, it is very identical to the A50. There are some patterns at the back, which is the only difference there is from the A50. But commendable is the fact that, though the phone has a relatively bigger 4,000 mAh battery, the design of it is very slim. So, it can be said that Samsung has done a very good job here. Now, performance. The A50s features Exynos 9611 which has very little upgrade form the A50’s 9610. That is somewhat disappointing considering other phones like the Redmi Note 8 pro. Having said that the 9611 is a little more energy efficient than the 9610. The normal performance of it is very good. Games like PUBG run in HD settings in high frame rates. Even if the performance is satisfactory in different aspects, we cannot deny the fact that The Helio G90T has better gaming and overall performance than the A50s. As for the cameras, there is a triple camera setup at the back. First, there is a 48MP primary camera, then an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and then a 5MP depth sensor. And as expected from a mid-range Samsung phone, the camera performance is very good. Yes, detail- wise, it’s hard to match with the 64MP cameras of the Note 8 pro, but quality-wise, the A50s does a commendable job. Not only the normal images, but the ultra-wide-angle images too look equally good. As for portraits, you don’t get very good edge detection but the images look good nonetheless. Battery- wise, you get a 4,000 mAh unit inside of the Galaxy A50s. The battery life is as you can expect from it. It will last for an entire day if you are a moderate user. But one complaint with it is that you get a 15- watt charger inside. We had hoped for a faster charging tech here but sadly that’s not the case. And like it is with most mid-range Samsung phones, the UI here is a little sluggish. We do hope Samsung fixes this problem on its mid-range phones.
